Hey cats and kitties:
It's been a hot minute and I am sorry to neglect my fans. Some action went down eight to the bar that shook my nerves and rattled my brain.
If you follow the news, Hurricanes Helene and Milton hit back to back in a morbid samba that was none to pleasant. Helene didn't hurt my home so much, but blew a friends power for a couple three days. Milton was another story entirely.
Milton didn't ruin my home, but four days of no power, a loss of food to the tune of big do-re-me, and seeing some people lose everything left me with hurricane fatigue. Yes that's a real issue.
Hurricane fatigue is when your body runs on non-stop to adrenaline for days on end. Like being jazzed up but depressed from tip to toe. And afterwards the mortal coil does an adrenal dump that flatlines the nervous system.
So this occurred. And almost soon after, an apartment complex my Queen and I've been wanting into for over three years called. There has been paperwork and false hopes and all that jazz. We were almost in but came up a tiny bit short in terms of my income flow
I prayed. I attended AA. Today has been full of miracles. I got a CPA letter attesting to my income, and Monday we'll see what's what.
In the midst of this mishegas I have managed to write some.
I hope everyone is well. If you were hit by the hurricane twain, let me know if you need anything. I know where resources exist.
As for my own hurricane recovery, I'm selling autographed copies of my books. $20.00 a piece plus shipping and handling, or $50.00 plus s/h for all three.

Glad you made it through the hurricanes without too much trauma, Ben.
